Beautifying Boyle County for 91 Years
The Garden Club of Danville was formed in 1935 with the goal of beautifying Danville and Boyle County through direct planting projects, donating plants, and exchanging seeds and plants. Learn more about the Garden Club’s projects and how they recently donated their entire collection to the Story Center for preservation and digitization.
A Century on the Farm
LuAnne Littlefield and her husband are the current caretakers of Three Oaks Farm, a farm that has been in their family for a century. Get a glimpse into this piece of Boyle County history with Story Center staff as we document it for our collection.
Aline's Quilts
Aline Cochran loved bright dresses. These billowing dresses eventually made their way into some of her many quilts over her 96 year life. Learn more about her quilts and see a few examples of her work.
